Mending the Soul Ministries

God delights in mending shattered souls. Mending the Soul is a biblically grounded healing model for abuse survivors. Small groups for women and small groups for men are held periodically throughout the year and last from 10 to 12 weeks.

Space for groups is limited. For current availability, contact Gabe Schmidt at gabe@whittonavenue.org or Mike Rehm at mrrehm@cox.net.

More about MTS

MTS began in Steve and Celestia Tracy’s living room in 2003 with a handful of men and women who had a passion to help heal those broken by abuse, a conviction that Christ loves and came to heal the broken, and the painful realization that our churches and communities lacked sufficient resources.

MTS curriculum began with Steve, an evangelical theologian, writing one of the first books on a theology of abuse and healing Mending the Soul: Understanding and Healing Abuse (Zondervan 2005). MTS believes that God loves every human being and delights in healing the broken and redeeming evil.
