Chris Davis grew up in a strong Christian family in a suburb of Atlanta. After graduating from Samford University (Birmingham, AL) with a music degree, he spent two years as an associate pastor in southern West Virginia. Through the various ministry opportunities there God confirmed Chris’ desire to preach His word in a pastoral position. To be more equipped for this work, Chris attended The Bethlehem Institute in Minneapolis, MN for training in the Biblical languages, preaching, and theology.Chris has been the preaching pastor at WABC since Fall 2005, and is currently completing his Masters of Divinity Degree at Phoenix Seminary. God has blessed Chris well beyond what he deserves in his wife, Rachael, and his children, Sophia, Stephan, and Marcus.

Aaron Dotterer grew up attending WABC with his family. After moving away to attend the the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago he returned to Phoenix and got involved at Whitton Avenue helping out in any way that was needed.

He came on staff in 2004 and currently helps lead the youth and college students as well as preaching and teaching. Aaron is also a student as Phoenix Seminary working towards his M.Div.

Steve Kinkel came to Christ in 1968 at the age of 15 in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a local business owner and entrepreneur.. He is married to Jill, his wife of 35 years. He has four grown children and nine grandchildren.Steve has experienced many changes over the past 40 years at WABC but none has been deeper or more life changing than coming to grips with God’s grace and sovereignty. His current favorite authors are John Piper, Paul Trip, and Tedd Trip.

Mike Rehm was born and raised here in “valley of the sun.” He attended Arizona State University and obtained a BA in choral music education. He has been privileged to be involved in various ministries at WABC including worship team, choir, and teaching. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling at Ottawa University and Phoenix Seminary.

In 1976 Mike married Beth, his high school sweetheart, and is grateful to be married to his best friend. They are blessed with 3 grown sons and 2 daughters-in-law.

Gabe and Julia Schmidt

Gabe Schmidt grew up in a strange Christian sub-culture in Louisville, KY. In high school his parents were transferred to England and it is there that the Lord worked in his heart to draw Gabe to himself. After graduating from Whitworth College (Spokane, WA) with a theology degree, he spent a year working with a church in Spokane doing curriculum development. To be more equipped for this work, Gabe attended The Bethlehem Institute in Minneapolis, MN for training in the Biblical languages, preaching, and theology.

Gabe has been the administrative assistant at WABC since the winter of 2006, and is currently completing his Masters of Divinity Degree at Phoenix Seminary. Gabe has been married to his delightful wife, Julia, since June 2001.
